H I ALL .RECENTLY BACK FROM OUR THIRD HIGHLAND GAMES HERE IN SCOTLAND WHERE I CAN HUMBLY SAY THAT WEVE HAD QUITE A SUCCESS. WE ATTENDED THE LUSS WEEKEND AND THE BREADALBANE(KILLIN)ONE BUT OUR BEST REPORT HAS TO COME FROM BUTE .THIS IS VERY POSITIVE FOR US AND THE RIGHTFUL LINEAGE . WE MADE SOME IMPORTANT FRIENDS TOO!

Which games will you be attending next? It is unreal to think that we have representation at Highland games......in THE HIGHLANDS!!!

MYSELF AND GRANT....WITH OUR RESPECTIVE SPOUSES MANNED A TENT AT LUSS AND WERE IDENTIFIED SEVERAL TIMESBY OUR TARTAN RATHER THAN THE SIGN! THE MACTAVISH AND THOMPSONS WERE SLOW TO COME BUT WORD SOON GOT AROUND AND THEY CAME THICK AND FAST. ALL SAID THE SAME QUESTION INITIALLY...............; YOUR NOT FROM THOSE CANADIAN WANNABES ARE YOU'? THERE WAS GREAT INTEREST IN OUR WEBSITES AND NEW SOCIETY.
AT KILLIN WE HAD A GREAT WELCOME AND MUCH INTEREST IN OUR FUTURE PRODUCTS . IT SEEMED WE WERE A WEE BIT SNOWED UNDER AND WE AGREED WE COULD USE MORE HELP.
OUR GREAT ACOMPLISHMENT WAS BUTE. WE HAD LOTS OF ENQUIRIES FROM PEOPLE DISENCHANTED WITH THE CLAN SINCE DODGY AND STICKY BEGAN PRETENDING. IT SEEMS THEY BELIEVE A SCOT SHOULD BE CHIEF AND FAILING THAT SOMEONE OF LINEAL DESCENT. FUDGING HISTORY AND THEFTS OF MONIES AND DOCUMENTS WERE DISCUSSED. IT SEEMS OUR REAL SCOTTISH PEOPLE ARE VERY AWARE OF EVENTS DUE TO OUR HONEST SITES.
WE MADE VALUABLE CONTACTS WITH THE MACINTOSH OF MACINTOSH AND JOHN DUNLOP WHO REPRESENTS CLAN LAMONT(BOTH THINK DODGY AND STICKY ARE A JOKE).
I HAVE SO MUCH TO TELL; I NEVER DREAMED IT WOULD BE SO SUCCESSFUL. NEXT YEAR THERE IS THE WORLD'S LARGEST GAMES AT INVERNESS - VERY CLOSE TO GARTHBEG TOO! GRANT AND I ARE PLANNING AHEAD AND INTEND TO HAVE A MARQUEE AND LOTS OF HELP! VOLUNTEERS VERY WELCOME!

CAN I GIVE A HUGE THANK YOU TO GRANT MACTAVISH FROM BUTE FOR HIS DEDICATION AND TIRELESS ENERGY WITH THE PROMOTION OF THE TRUE MACTAVISH IN SCOTLAND. WE STOOD IN INTENSE HEAT AND HEAVY RAINS SUSTAINED BY THE ODD WEE DRAM AND THE BUZZ OF EXCITEMENT WITH THE INTEREST IN OUR CLANSPEOPLE.

So exactly what are the masses saying about the Clan MacTavish as it stands now. Do they know the upheavel going on right now???? How long have you been attending games??? Are they as well attended in Scotland as in the States?????

WE BEGAN IN JULY THRU TO LATE AUGUST.
THE NUMBERS HERE ARE NOT AS IMPRESSIVE AS OVER THE POND =ITS LESS OF A SPECTACLE. BUT THEIR IS QUALITY HERE. THE AVERAGE TURNOUT IS SAY 10,000 BUT THESE ARE TRUE SCOTS IN SEARCH OF TRADITION AND OLDEN WAYS. AT THE INVERNESS GAMES NEXT YEAR THEY ANTICIPATE 250,000. WE'LL BE THERE.

I think it is time to set a date for our trip. I will talk with Real MacTavish when he or she is back and see when some Highland games might be. Last count we have about 40 people making the trip to Scotland next September! 40, can you believe it. We will make that Pub in Dores rock!
