My name is Ross Fraser & I live in Christchurch (yes the shaky city) New Zealand, I am 64 a widower & live with my 2 dogs, cat & canary. My great grandfather came out to Dunedin in 1869 from the Old Parish of Croy & Dalcross but his family originated down south of Inverness in the area of Dores & Boleskin. I am involved in many Scottish groups in Christchurch, I run the Clan Fraser Society of NZ, am a councilor on the Scottish Society of NZ, member of the Canterbury Burns Club, on the Canterbury Scottish Heritage Council & on the Canterbury Scottish Cultural Festival committee. Am proud to be a Kiwi & a Scot & avid supporter of the All Blacks. In June this year I made my first visit to Scotland visiting Aberdeen staying in Kintore, then out to Inverery House for lunch with Lady Saltoun up to Fraserburgh & lunch at Cairnbulg Castle with Kate (Lady Saltoun's daughter) & Mark. On to Croy then down through Dores & Boleskin eventually ending up in Edinburgh where I then caught the train down to London before catching the Eurostar over to France.
