I have just found this wonderful site and would love to be able to say I have visited the area but sadly that has not happened. I am looking for my ancestors family of Rebecca Fraser born c 1824 who was from Stratherrick according to 1851 census when she was with husband Donald Cameron and children in Queen St Inverness. I841 she was age 17 with possible father or grandfather Donald age 78 and some possible siblings in Culcabock.
The shipping record when she came to Australia says her parents were Donald and Isabella and when her first son was baptized godparents were Hugh and Donald Fraser possibly brothers.
If anyone has information on this family I would be very appreciative.

I don't know what happened around the time you sent the last post but I may have been away and somehow didn't get back to the site. You did have my correct family in your last post. I am descended from the youngest son Alexander Fraser Cameron.
