I urge that all persons read the article titled... 'the true known truths " written by "col galoway " as displayed on the mactavish website.
Read this article in detail and then understand that 'lord lyons office " have confirmed that most of this very article is 'false if not misleading".. which means that the facts as listed by galloway about simon mactavish are FALSE
!...simon mactavish DID not bribe Lord lyons office (as galloway suggests ) to obtain titles....
2...simon did not get titles due to a "long purse"
Nearly all of "galloways true known truths " article is inaccurate without ANY fact......so how in the hell can a mactavish website proudly display this article as remotely factual when the court of lord lyon confirm it is FALSE...
This is either a SEVERE error by clan mactavish or a deliberate attempt to smere the memory of our clans greatest man.
The number of "proven "errors and false statements in galloways article show that it merits no inclusion in any part of our families history nor website.
