I have posted a transcription of a Bond of Conferation that was signed by many members of families frm the Stratherrick area of Scotland. For one thing, it does show that the MacTavish thought of themselves as a separate clan in 1721. However, they were still very closely aligned with Lord Lovat during this time period.
