 Rebecca Fraser from Stratherrick (according to 1851 census when she and family lived in Queen St Inverness) born about 1824 parents Donald and Isabel or Isabella (shipping record on William Miles to Australia in 1855) married Donald Cameron from Rosshire in Inverness 15 Jan 1844.  Sons Hugh baptized in Feb 1845 godparents Hugh and Donald Fraser, William born 1847 no christening found and daughter Jane born Nairnshire baptized  Feb 1852 in Croy and Dalcross.  Then they came to Australia where Donald died in 1863 and Rebecca died in 1867.  No parent details were known by son William for death certificate and on marriage cert of youngest son Alexander he stated he couldn't tell his mother's name.  The marriage certificate of Donald and Rebecca states Rebecca was from Culcabock and that is all I know re life in Scotland. They had 3 more sons once arriving in Australia.  As well as my great grandfather Alexander born 1860 there was Donald born 1855 and James born 1857.  I have descendants of Alexander and Donald but unable to find the others.
